On December 23, 2020, the Belt and Road International Transport Symposium and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Young Scientists Transport Forum were successfully held in Beijing. This seminar was co-hosted by the China Highway Society and the Belt and Road International Transport Alliance.
Experts from the Belt and Road countries such as the Greek Intelligent Transportation Research Institute, the International Road Transport Alliance, the Nepalese Embassy in China, Chongqing Jiaotong University, Tsinghua University, the Scientific Research Institute of the Ministry of Transport, the Alliance, etc., attended the meeting. Issues have been discussed as to how to deal with the impact of the epidemic, how to promote the coordinated development of "One Belt One Road" logistics transportation and "Dual Cycle", and how to promote the high-quality development of "One Belt One Road" interconnection by leveraging the infrastructure construction.
As a window for international dialogues in the field of intelligent transportation in China, our alliance was awarded as a governing unit by the One Belt and One Road International Transportation Union. Chairman Wang Xiaojing of our alliance was invited to serve as a member of the Board of Directors of the One Belt One Road International Transportation Union and chairman of the Intelligent Transportation Technology Committee.
